Traditional Illustration
This is my first attempt at creating a graphic novel. This
is an autobiography of who I am or at least what shaped me. I was quite
influenced by Chinese ancient drama since young, thanks to my mom and brother.
I had always wondered what it would be like to be in an ancient civilization.
And like most beginning for a great character, whether the person will be good
or evil, there loom a tragic past.
A twisted ending to the Jack and Jill parody; where Jack see to Jill's ending for a pound of shilling.
The door to elsewhere is a story based on a poem I did back in High school. Originally, I plan to create an animation to draw out the color and music of the poem. But as I storyboard the story, I decided to make it into a graphic novel for now.
This is the result of the learning process on how to use Prismacolor pencil. Left: Mango, my brother parrot. Right: No Quarter, is a photomontage of a riot and flowers. A battle between nature versus human, where coexistent can no longer maintain.
